Information For Authors
General Information: ENGINOM in Engineering Innovations (EEI) is an open‑access, peer‑reviewed journal publishing original research, reviews, case studies, and technical notes across all engineering disciplines. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. All submissions must be prepared in English using the official JEI template available on the journal’s website.
Types of Contributions: EEI accepts the following categories: Original Research Articles: Full-length studies presenting novel findings. Review Articles: Comprehensive surveys of current knowledge in a specific engineering field. Case Studies: Practical applications or innovative engineering solutions. Technical Notes / Short Communications: Brief reports of new methods, preliminary results, or innovations. Editorials & Perspectives: Invited contributions from experts.
Manuscript Structure, all manuscripts should follow this structure: Title Page: Title (concise, informative, ≤20 words), Author names, affiliations, and ORCID IDs and Corresponding author’s email address. Abstract: (150–250 words), Clear summary of objectives, methods, results, and conclusions and Include 4–6 keywords. Introduction: Background, problem statement, and objectives. Materials and Methods: Detailed methodology for reproducibility. Results and Discussion: Present findings with figures/tables; interpret significance. Conclusion: Summarize contributions and implications. Acknowledgments: (if applicable). References: Use APA or IEEE citation style consistently. Figures and Tables: High resolution, properly labeled, cited in text.
Formatting Guidelines: Manuscripts must be submitted in Word or LaTeX format using the EEI template. Font: Times New Roman, size 12, double‑spaced. Figures: Minimum 300 dpi resolution, submitted as separate files (JPEG, PNG, or TIFF). Tables: Editable format, not embedded as images. Equations: Use LaTeX or Math Type.
Peer Review Policy: EEI follows a double‑blind peer review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts. Review criteria include originality, technical quality, clarity, and relevance. Authors may be asked to revise manuscripts before final acceptance.
Article Processing Charges (APCs): EEI is an open‑access journal, APCs are applied to cover editorial, peer review, and publication costs, Waivers or discounts may be available for authors from developing countries or for special issues.
Ethical Standards: EEI adheres to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines, Plagiarism, duplicate submission, or data fabrication will result in rejection, Authors must disclose conflicts of interest and funding sources, Human/animal studies must include ethical approval statements.
Copyright & Licensing: Authors retain copyright under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, this allows unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction with proper citation.
Archiving & Preservation: EEI content is preserved through LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to ensure permanent accessibility.
